Korean companies are interested in PDZs and the Free port of Vladivostok. The format of cooperation will be discussed at the Far East Russian-Korean forum, which will be held June 8 in Primorye.

Business negotiations in B2B format for the first time will take place in the framework of the Far East Russian-Korean forum, which will be held in Vladivostok for the sixth time. June 8 at the hotel "Hyundai" will bring together representatives of not only government agencies and associations of the Republic of Korea, but also big business.

According to the representatives of the Consulate General of Republic of Korea in Vladivostok, this year the format of the event turns into a practical plane.

"For the first time in the program of one-day forum in addition to the plenary and thematic sessions business meetings of Russian and Korean business in the B2B format are scheduled. The delegation of the Republic of Korea included two dozen large companies. Among them, the Korean Corporation of Industrial Complexes, Korean Corporation for Land and Housing Construction (POSCO), "Yusuhanjin", "Wall Dea", "Pantos Logistics", "Kogas /Daewoo", "Hyundai Engineering", the companies of fish and medical industry and other " , - noted in the Consulate General.

In addition, the Republic of Korea will be represented by the Research Institute, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, the Export-Import Bank, the Korea Institute for Health Development, Korean research center in the field of energy and other structures.

On the Russian side the Far East forum will be attended by representatives of Primorye, Sakhalin Region, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk region and the Chukotka Autonomous District. The International Forum is expanding not only the agenda but also the geography of participants: this year, for the first time in addition to the far eastern regions Zabaykalsky Krai will come to the forum.

The Consulate General emphasized that first of all South Korean partners are interested in territory of priority development and Free port of Vladivostok.

"In addition, the sides will discuss cooperation in the fields of energy, medicine and the fishing industry", - said the representative of the organizers.

According to the vice-governor of Primorye Sergey Nekhaeva, a forum in this format will expand the bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Korea, identify new areas for partnership.

It should be noted the organizes of the event are the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Vladivostok, Korean Maritime Institute (Korea Maritime Institute) with the support of the Administration of Primorsky Krai.

 

Recall, according to the Governor of Vladimir Miklushevsky new development tools are of great interest among Russian and foreign partners, the first success stories  Primorsky Krai will present at the second East Economic Forum, which will be held in the region on 2-3 September.
